In Memoriam: Rene Lopez

Our friend and former AIDS TREATMENT NEWS staff member Rene Lopez died on May 14. Rene came to San Francisco from El Salvador several years ago, and spent much of his time collecting treatment information for the newsletter and for Spanish-speaking friends. He was proud of the progress he had made in addiction recovery, and he often brought HIV treatment news to his recovery support groups. We will very much miss Rene's bravery and sincerity.
