San Francisco: Nutrition and Wasting Seminar, October 11

Nutrition and HIV: Strategies for Prevention and Management of HIV-Associated Malnutrition and Wasting, a community forum with leading experts, will be held Wednesday October 11, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. This program is sponsored by the American Foundation for AIDS Research, and co-sponsored by HIVCare, of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital.

Panelists are Donald Kotler, M.D., Mary Romeyn, M.D., Morris Schambelan, M.D., and Kristin Weaver, R.N., M.S.N. The moderator is Ellen C. Cooper, M.D., M.P.H. There will be a question and answer session after the panel discussion.

The forum will be held at the University of California San Francisco Laurel Heights Conference Center, 3333 California St. (at Presidio). Parking is available, or take the California #1 bus. Admission is free, but reservations are required; to make reservations, call HIVCare at 415/353-6215.
