Office of AIDS Research Announces Advisory Council

On October 16, another government committee on AIDS was announced. The Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council "will provide expert advice to the Secretary the Assistant Secretary for Health, the director of the NIH, and the Director of the OAR on the planning, coordination, and evaluation of AIDS and AIDS-related research conducted or supported by the agencies of NIH."

The press release listed 15 members and nine non-voting ex- officio members.
