Washington D.C.: Retroviruses Conference Update, February 25
A review of treatment information from the 6th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (Chicago, February 1999) will be presented at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill (400 New Jersey Avenue, NW, near Union Station or Judiciary Square), Thursday February 25, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.; refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this program.Speakers are:
Joseph Timpone, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, Georgetown University, on "Expanded Treatment Options."
Richard Elion, M.D., in private practice, on "Implications of Immune Reconstitution."
Lark Lands, Ph.D., on "Treatment Advocates' Perspective" (an overview of information of interest from the daily treatment activist meeting during the Retroviruses conference).
