Lipodystrophy Conference, June 26-28 in San Diego

The 1st International Workshop on Adverse Drug Reactions and Lipodystrophy in HIV will take place June 26-28, 1999, in San Diego, California. Abstracts must be  submitted both by mail and electronically by May 14. The deadline for registration is June 14. Registration is $725, which includes hotel and meals. This workshop is sponsored by Glaxo Wellcome and Merck.

Major sections are Introduction; Physiology; Investigations and therapy; Lipodystrophy in HIV--recent cohort studies and the evolution of a case definition; and Reaching a consensus--lipodystrophy case  definition.
