National AIDS Update Conference, San Francisco, March 14-17

"The National AIDS Update Conference is designed for HIV/AIDS education and treatment experts, HIV/AIDS advocates, and people living with the disease. The conference aims to increase awareness of the newest options in battling the epidemic and to ensure that people with HIV/AIDS have access to the latest information on treatment and care. More than 2,000 participants are expected at this year's meeting." Nationally prominent speakers include Sandra Thurman, Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy, and Jay Levy, M.D., at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. Greg Louganis will attend the reception.
